a kitchen should be open and airy to be a welcoming and clean sight for working with food. this is especially true when it’s lucky enough to have the space to serve as an eat-in kitchen/dining room. 

to take away the bulk of this extra dresser in the living space, it was a matter of streamlining the closet so that i could keep the need for an organizational storage intact inside the closet

everybody loves a good before and after, especially when the before pics go from bad to good.  what i really wanted to show off in this posting was the before and after when the pics go from good to good and how the furniture and decor from her previous apt was redefined into the space of her current apt:

a mirror or picture to hang over the couch will be great once she settles in and gets to buy it.  i always leave room to grow!

this galley kitchen could be easily cramped like this before.  although there’s not a lot of elbow room, it’s a perfect place to set up a vignette and keep the extra dining chairs while still not cluttering.
